Ecostar burner service.
Commissioning, periodic inspections, flue-gas measurements, spare parts and repairs. Regular servicing means greater safety, lower fuel consumption and a longer service life for the unit.
The burner is the heart of the combustion system. A neglected one uses more fuel, burns less cleanly and locks out more often. Regular servicing costs less than downtime.
Scope of services
- Commissioning and adjustment — first start-up, power settings, combustion measurements and a report.
- Periodic inspections — monthly and seasonal, per the manufacturer's recommendations (below).
- Flue-gas measurements — combustion analysis after the inspection, with a measurement report.
- Repairs and parts replacement — electrodes, nozzles, pumps, controllers, valves, fans.
- Faults — diagnosing the cause of lockouts and abnormal operation.
What the inspection covers
Monthly inspection (example scope per the manufacturer's manual)
- Cleaning the filters in the gas line and the multiblock.
- Checking the burner head, ignition leads and ionisation electrodes.
- Checking the electrical connections and tightening screws.
- Cleaning dust from the fan and air dampers.
- Checking the gas pressure — a change in pressure changes the burner's load and emissions.
Seasonal inspection
- Measuring the motor's insulation resistance.
- Replacing the ignition and ionisation electrodes.
- Cleaning the fan and air damper, checking the fan's operation.
- Checking the boiler thermostats and a visual inspection of the boiler.
- A combustion analysis once the work is complete.
Fault?
Call +48 794 626 676. Tell us the burner model and the symptoms — whether the burner fails to start, locks out after a few seconds, or the flame is unstable. If you smell gas: open the windows, do not use electrical switches or a phone inside the building, leave the building and notify your gas supplier or the fire brigade.
